The voices of the LGBTQ community need to be included in conversations that impact the lives of LGBTQ people. We have taken a leadership role in advocating for:
Expanding city and state nondiscrimination policies to include sexual orientation and gender identity.
Ensuring all government employees, including those in a same-sex relationship, have benefits that cover their family.
Representing LGBTQ people at Lincoln’s nonprofit and social services tables.
